Memorial Parade

The Memorial Day Parade will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 29.

Arthur C. Ball is the 2017 Grand Marshall. The parade travels from 4th and Columbia to York St., over 6th Street, and up Monmouth to 10th Street. Following the parade there will be a brief ceremony at the City Building. The parade and ceremony will be a respectful tribute honoring Veterans. Your attendance and participation helps recognize this special group while showing pride in our community. The parade typically lasts about 45 minutes. Following the parade there wil be a brief ceremony at the City Building.

Participants entering a marching group or "float" in the parade are asked to register in advance and then meet at Fourth and Columbia in the large parking lot adjacent to the Campbell County Courthouse, by 8:30 am. Volunteers will be present to organize the procession. Groups wishing to participate can get information by calling 859.655.4136.

The administrative offices at the City Building will be closed on Memorial Day but our emergency personnel are always on duty!
