NEWPORT ITALIANFEST

Italianfest, named a Top 20 Event in June by the Southeast Tourism Society, is held along Newport’s Riverboat Row between the Taylor-Southgate and L&N Bridges. The festival has authentic Italian food and live Italian music performed by entertainers from around the nation, a Golf Outing, a Family Photo Booth-which showcases the history of Italian families that settled in Newport generations ago, pizza eating contest, cooking contest, games, rides and fireworks. **AMERICA'S CELEBRATION - NEWPORT MOTORCYCLE RALLY

Saturday Noon - Midnight (Fireworks @ 10:00 p.m.)
Sunday Noon - Midnight
Monday Noon - 6:00 p.m.
This celebration will include fireworks on the riverfront, games, live entertainment, food, contests and prizes! Motorcycle show registration is Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and awards will be given out on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. to the best-looking bikes. Magnificent Ride starts at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Glier’s Goettafest is a family fun festival celebrating the region’s love of Goetta. Goetta will be prepared in many delicious ways including Goetta Reubens, omelets, pizza and more. There will be continuous live music, games and rides. **NEWPORT OKTOBERFEST

The Newport Oktoberfest is promised to be the most authentic Oktoberfest in the area. The event will be in the Munich Oktoberfest style of large Fest Tents sponsored by German Beer Breweries. Each tent will have food, beer and music.
